Horror Bound Magazine is now accepting short stories (up to 5,000 words maximum), poetry, book excerpts and art to appear on our free online magazine. Please read the guidelines below carefully.
If you wish to submit a published book for book review by horrorbound.com, please email editor@horrorbound.com for instructions on how to do this.
1. To activate the online submission menu you must register for a free account and login. Please only submit work via the online submission process. We do NOT accept work sent to us via email.
2. All material should be original and have your name on it. Please include a short bio with your work.
3. Horror Bound does not allow sexually explicit material as our reader base is all ages.
4. You must be the sole copyright holder. You will retain copyright if your work is published on this site.
5. Material should be of a horror/dark fantasy/noir/slipstream or thriller theme in the fiction genre.
6. Please check your work carefully for spelling and grammatical errors.
7. Submit your work under the correct category.
8. We reserve the right to not publish work that we deem not suitable for this site.
9. By submitting it via the online submission process you are allowing Horror Bound Magazine to publish it on this site or any affiliate sites.
Reading Time
Our editors will review your work and you will be contacted if we decide to publish your work. Please allow up to 90 days for this process.
